Must be about time to give the web site wider publicity, it would appear that the same two or thre are the only contributors.
Lets get the web site address into the local press, local school news letters, any local forum.
Hey Mr Templarbond man, plenty of people view and use. Ask your brother, the bicycleman, he knows. It is a forum that could be really utilised a lot more with better management too but energy and distraction of everyday life seem to overpower all too often. How's the weather in the US today?
I found this site using a Google search.
My Grandparents used to live at the bottom of Trelawney Rd (the Moor end), and when I knew the Bowly it just had a few dilapidated swings in it!
It's good to see the community looking after it and helping it reach it's potential. Falmouth is full of good childhood memories for me.
Hi Britgirl, thanks for looking in. Where are you living these days and what era were you referring to regarding delapidated swings, 1960 - 1970's? Long grass, rubbish, very unruly behaviour too. Tell us a bit about yourself. Do you come back very often. I'm on the committee and we do our best but always keen for comments and support. Best wishes, The Bowly Man
I've been living in the States for the last 12 years, and haven't been back to Falmouth for almost 20!
I do miss it a lot at the moment, as I'm doing a lot of research on the area as part of my family history, so it is stirring up a lot of lovely childhood memories.
I'm hoping we can fit in a visit next year. We come back regularly, but with no family in Falmouth anymore it's harder to get down there.
The period I was referring to was the early to mid 1970s.
